Get to know Richard Jorgensen, MD - candidate for re-election.
Richard Jorgensen, MD, is a lifelong DuPage County resident and currently makes his home in Wheaton. He is married with two adult daughters. After obtaining a bachelors in biology at Loyola University Chicago he continued his education and training as a doctor and surgeon at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and Foster McGaw Medical Center.
Rich completed a Fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin before returning to Central DuPage Hospital to begin his surgical practice.
Initiatives and Priorities.
Dr. Jorgensen, MD, has worked tirelessly to improve public health and safety throughout DuPage County. The most prominent of these efforts coming in the fight against the opioid epidemic and working towards suicide prevention, but the work still continues.
